Iroquois Caucus holding in-person meetings today and tomorrow

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community that Oh�n:ton �:iente ne Ratits�nhaienhs Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer and Iets�nhaienhs Tonya Perron are in Akwesasne today and tomorrow to participate in a meeting with the Iroquois Caucus.

This will be the first in-person meeting of the Caucus since the pandemic began in 2020. The agenda includes the Harvest Working Group (which includes hunting matters), Anishinabek Nation � Iroquois Caucus Alliance (Radioactive Waste Working Group), and Strategic Planning.

The Iroquois Caucus consists of elected Councils from Kahnaw�:ke, Akwesasne, Tyendinaga, Six Nations, Kanehsat�:ke, Wahta, and the Oneida of the Thames.

Upon their return, both Kenits�nhaienhs plan to attend the community engagement kiosk being held tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at the Green Space near the Golden Age Club.
