New stop signs to be installed near the Turtle Bay Elders Lodge

The Public Works Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform the community that two new stop signs will be installed at the intersection of the Turtle Bay Elders Lodge (see picture below).

The stop signs will be installed tomorrow morning (Tuesday, August 2) at 7am.

The decision to install the new signalization was made with input from the Public Works Department, Public Safety Division, and Kahnawake Shakotiia′takehnhas Community Services.

The new stop signs will help increase safety for pedestrian traffic in that area.
