AFN National Chief RoseAnne Archibald meeting with Grand Chief Sky-Deer and Quebec Regional Chief Picard

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to advise the community that Assembly of First Nations National Chief RoseAnne Archibald is in Kahnawà:ke to meet with Ohén:ton I:iente ne Ratitsénhaienhs Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer and Assembly of First Nations Quebec-Labrador Regional Chief Ghislain Picard.

“No agenda has been set, but she has been meaning to visit the community since her election last year,” said Grand Chief Sky-Deer. “It is important to take every opportunity to maintain our networks with our Indigenous leaders working on both the national and provincial levels.”

The meeting is scheduled for one hour, to be followed by a tour of the community.
