MCK requests proposals for tree removal

The Multi-Purpose Building Committee wishes to advise the community that a Request for Proposals (tender) is being issued for the purposes of removal of certain trees and brush at the site of the new facility for the Kanien’kehá:ka Onkwawén:na Raotitióhkhwa Language & Cultural Center, Museum, and the Turtle Island Theatre.
Certified Kahnawà:ke tree removal companies are invited to submit proposals for the work.
Please note that all work will be closely monitored to ensure that only trees carefully vetted and selected for removal will be affected.
The new facility will be built on common land on the wooded property adjacent to the Kahnawà:ke Survival School.
