IMPORTANT NOTICE - Elevated levels of E.coli detected in Tioweroton

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to notify the community that Environment Health Services of Kahnaw�:ke Shakotiia�takehnhas Community Services have tested the water at two locations in Tiower�:ton, and have detected elevated levels of E.coli bacteria.

As a result, it is advised that persons should not swim in the area of the Falls and the 2nd bridge, until further notice.

The community will be kept up to date on further developments.
