Animal Control Services at maximum capacity for Cats

The Public Safety Division′s Animal Control Services wishes to inform the community that it is experiencing difficulties securing placements in shelters and rescue facilities for cats coming through its doors due to province-wide overcrowding.

Animal Control Services is currently at maximum capacity and can no longer accept any cats until further notice. Exceptions may be made for emergency situations on a case-by-case basis.

Please note this also extends to owner surrenders. Animal Control Services recommends utilizing social media to network your cat for re-homing. You may contact Animal Control Services at 450-632-0635 for guidance in re-homing or placement of your cat through social networking.
