Reminder - MCK By-Election Nomination Day this Saturday

The Electoral Officer for the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke By-Election wishes to remind the community that Nomination Day is this Saturday, October 22nd, at the Kahnaw�:ke Services Complex from 10am to 12 noon.

Persons intending to run are strongly encouraged to pre-verify their eligibility with the Office of the Kahnaw�:ke Kanien�keh�:ka Registry and arrive with their nominator and seconder (both of whom must be at least 18 years of age and meet the requirements of the Kahnaw�:ke Election Law), as a trio, to expedite the registration process.

The Electoral Officer would like to emphasize the importance of having all documents required that day be completed IN FULL to avoid delays. All nominees will have a photo taken on-site.
