Operations Manager hired for Cannabis Control Office

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to advise the community that Mr. Matthew Ferrante has been named as the Operations Manager for the Kahnaw�:ke Cannabis Control Office (�the Office�).

Under the supervision of the Kahnaw�:ke Cannabis Control Board (�the Board�), the Operations Manager is responsible for the operations and administration of the Office, including the general management of the Board�s internal and external resources. He is also responsible to assist in the development and implementation of the various processes, and for ensuring that internal and external information flow is accurate and consistent.

Mr. Ferrante began his duties on Wednesday, October 19th. He can be contacted at cannabis.board@mck.ca.   

Please note that the Kahnaw�:ke Cannabis Control Law�s Regulations concerning Dispensary Licenses are still under development. For greater clarity, there have not yet been any licenses issued for the retail sales of Cannabis within the Territory.
