Freezing rain warning in effect

The Public Safety Division of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke is advising community members to monitor weather conditions, as Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for our region.

An estimated 1 to 2 millimetres of freezing rain is expected and will begin tomorrow (Friday) morning during the rush hour.
 
Please exercise caution as surfaces such as roads and sidewalks could become icy, slippery, and dangerous.
 
Residents are being reminded to monitor local media for updated weather forecasts.
