Kahnawake Fish Health Study - Information Session

The Kahnaw�:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) will be conducting a study on fish health this winter. KEPO is looking to collaborate with ice-fishing community members to collect samples for analysis. The upcoming study will follow up on previous works in 1997 and 2010.

KEPO is inviting community members interested in Kahnaw�:ke fish health �including those interested in contributing fish samples to the study�to join us for an information session and discussion at the Golden Age Club on Wednesday, December 14th, from 6-8pm. Refreshments will be served.

Discussion items will include:

• Review of knowledge of fish health
• Previous fish health studies in Kahnaw�:ke
• Joint development of methods in the upcoming study 
• Expectations for upcoming study
