Weather statement in effect, possible snowstorm for Friday

The Public Safety Division of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to advise the community that Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for our region, which could bring the first snowstorm of the season.

The statement is calling for significant snowfall (December 16), which could make driving difficult. Temperatures will be around the freezing point, generating heavy, sticky snow.
