Snow Clearing Operations begin tomorrow

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke′s Public Works Unit wishes to advise the community that snow-clearing operations will begin tomorrow - Tuesday, December 20, beginning at 7am.

Crews will be clearing snow from the sidewalks on the Old Malone Highway (OMH), from the CP tunnel to Karonhianónhnha School, the Old Chateauguay Road to Diabo Road, and other locations.

To avoid areas becoming inaccessible to snow removal machinery, community members are asked not to park on roads where operations are underway.

For everyone’s safety, please expect road closures in the areas where the work is taking place, as well as minor detours along the OMH during the operation.
