Kahnawake Governance Project to host Sunday Morning Brunch Sessions

The Kahnawà:ke Governance Project (KGOV) is inviting community members to attend a series of informal information sessions in the months of January and February, hosted by Gerald Taiaiake Alfred, KGOV Program Manager.
The purpose of the sessions is to provide an opportunity for in-depth discussions on the history of Kahnawà:ke, and for sharing information on the activities of the KGOV. For more information, please go to www.KGOV.ca.
The sessions will take place at the Golden Age Club on Sundays from 11:00am-1:00pm on the dates listed below. The first 20 registered participants will receive a breakfast of cornbread, steak and sausage.

“We are hoping to have a good turnout at these discussions,” said Community Engagement Coordinator Linda Delormier. “Hopefully other community members, groups or grassroots organizations will be inspired to come together in this way. Let’s bring Sunday visits back into style”
