Ratits�nhaienhs to meet with Federal Justice Minister David Lametti

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to advise the community that Oh�n:ton �:iente ne Ratits�nhaienhs (Grand Chief) Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer, Ratits�nhaienhs Michael Delisle, Jr., and Ross Montour are meeting with Canada�s Justice Minister David Lametti this afternoon.

The meeting was scheduled at the request of Sky-Deer to discuss gaming and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.

Accompanying Ratits�nhaienhs will be MCK Chief Political Advisor Winona Polson-Lahache. Follow-up information on the meeting will be relayed to the community tomorrow.
