The Public Safety Division of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw:ke wishes to advise the community that a team of four persons will begin trapping beavers in the areas of Zachary Road, Route 207, the Little Suzanne River, and behind Clay Mountains adjacent to the train tracks.

Preparation work begins this morning, with trapping to begin either later today or tomorrow. Please note that the areas indicated are the starting points and will change as the project moves forward. Signs will be erected near the traps advising residents of the activities. Community members are asked to allow the trappers to do their work quietly.
