Justice Services seeking participants for Focus Group

The Justice Services Division of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke is seeking interested community members to participate in a focus group regarding the Administrative Tribunal Regulations. Participants will be asked for their opinions and perspectives on various questions that arose during the drafting of the Regulations.

The date for the session is set for 6pm-8pm on Monday, March 27, 2023.

Interested persons must be on the Kanien�keh�:ka of Kahnaw�:ke Registry and should contact Tara Cross, Executive Assistant to the Commissioner of Justice, at 450-638-5647 or by email at tara.cross@mck.ca. Please confirm your interest no later than Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 4pm.

The implementation and operation of the Administrative Tribunal are pursuant to the Kahnaw�:ke Justice Act, which was created as a step towards self-determination and the exercise of our sovereign rights.
