Focus Groups continue Kahnaw�:ke Election Law amendments

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke′s Technical Drafting Committee for amendments to the Kahnaw�:ke Election Law continues to recruit Kahnawa′kehr�:non to participate in several upcoming Focus Groups.

The Committee is seeking interested community members to review 35 proposed amendments to the Law over the course of the sessions on the following dates:

• Tuesday, May 16, 2023 - Peacekeepers Station - 4pm - 6:30pm
• Tuesday, May 23, 2023 - Golden Age Club � 4pm - 6:30pm
• Tuesday, May 30, 2023 - Golden Age Club � 4pm - 6:30pm

Those interested must be on the Kanien′keh�:ka of Kahnaw�:ke Registry and should contact Sydney Ross, Administrative Assistant to the Executive Office, at 450-632-7500 or by email at sydney.ross@mck.ca.

Refreshments and meals will be provided, and participants will be entered to win a gift certificate at the end of the review sessions.
