Mercier Bridge Maintenance Call for Tenders Deadline EXTENSION

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that the Ministère des Transports du Quebec has extended the Call for Tenders for maintenance work on the provincial portion of the Mercier Bridge (Pont Honoré-Mercier).

The estimated contract amount is between $60,000,000 and $74,999,999.99. The Call is open to Kahnawà:ke Contractors only.

The deadline to submit a bid is now Friday, June 9, 2023, at 2pm, using the Système Electronique d′Appels d′Offres (SEAO) - the electronic system used by the Québec government.

The present contract is governed by the provisions of the Labor Agreement between the Government of Québec and the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake and by Kahnawake’s Fair Wage Agreement.

The MCK is not part of the awarding process of the contract.
