Road Work underway today in Tioweroton

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Maintenance Road Work has begun today in Tiower�:ton (Thursday, June 8, 2023).

Capital construction crews are leveling the rock protrusions, reshaping ditches, adding some new culverts, and bringing in gravel to fix the road.

The work will begin at the North Cabin and continue south along the North Road toward the main entrance. Road access may be limited until the work is complete in approximately two weeks.
