Road Work in Alwyn Park Area

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake would like to inform all Kahnawa′kehr�:non that construction work in the Alwyn Park Area will commence on Monday, June 12, 2023, weather permitting.

Capital crews will be replacing the water and sewer mains. The shaded area indicates where the work will take place.

Upon completion of the water and sewer works, the road base will be reconstructed, and a new asphalt surface will be installed.

During the construction period, homeowners will be temporarily supplied with water using an above-ground water distribution system and will have sewage disposal services available at all times.

The work is expected to last until the end of July.
