Director of Kahnawà:ke Labor Office departs

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Oliver Montour, Director of the Kahnawà:ke Labor Office (KLO), has resigned from his position to pursue other opportunities.

Mr. Montour began with the MCK from 2011 to 2013 as an Occupational Safety and Health Inspector, later joining the KLO as a Certification and Competency Officer in July 2017. Oliver took on the Director role in December 2019.

Until the position is posted and a new candidate is selected, the Executive Operations Officer, Alan John Rice, will oversee the KLO.

The MCK would like to thank Oliver for his years of service and wish him the best in his future endeavors.
