Ietsenhaienhs Lazare in Tyendinaga for Iroquois Caucus Harvesting Working Group

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community that Iets�nhaienhs Jessica Lazare is at the Iroquois Caucus Harvesting Working Group meeting today, in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.

On the agenda for the working group: Overview of Workplan and Working Group Activities; Criteria for Harvesting Issues; Planning for Harvesting Summit; and Working Group Activities.

Lazare, who is the Chair of the Working Group, returns to the office tomorrow (Wednesday).

The Iroquois Caucus was created in 2007 and consists of elected Councils from Kahnaw�:ke, Akwesasne, Kanehsat�:ke, Tyendinaga, Wahta, Six Nations, and the Oneida of the Thames.
