Director of Information Management Unit resigns

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community of the resignation of Tom Scott, Director of the Information Management Unit.

�We would like to thank Tom for his years of service to the MCK and the community. Tom�s knowledge, experience and dedication will be missed, and we wish him well in his future endeavors,� said Executive Financial Officer Stephan Roy.

Mr. Scott started his career at the MCK as a Surveyor at the Lands Unit in 1992, then as an Electronic Engineering Technologist for Technical Services from 1993 to 1996. In 1998 Tom moved to the Information Systems Unit (now known as Information Management Unit) as a Systems Administrator, and was promoted to Director in 2004.

In the interim, Executive Administrative Officer, Dawn Marquis-Deere will take on the operational responsibilities of the Information Management Unit.

Tom�s last day at the MCK will be Friday, August 25th, 2023.
