Rec Bay Beach Closed for the Season

The Sports and Recreation Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that, unfortunately, the Recreation Bay Beach will be closed for the remainder of the season.

Due to the many waterfowl that gather in the area, the weekly E coli readings are not showing any improvement.

The community′s patience and understanding are appreciated as we research and test ways to keep the birds off the beach to improve the waterquality.
