CPKC railway maintenance work

The Public Safety Division of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke has been informed by the Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) engineering crew that maintenance work will occur on the Railway Tracks running through the community.

Work is expected to take place during daylight hours for four days beginning on Monday, September 25, 2023. The four crossings will remain open for the duration of the work.

The engineering team is a large, self-contained CPKC crew, including Kahnawa�kehr�:non Chad Rice.

As safety is a top priority for CPKC, this maintenance work ensures the safe operation of the tracks. CPKC thanks the community for their understanding during the maintenance work.
