KEPO Installing Water Depth Tracking Stations on Town Culverts and Bridges
10/13/2023
The Kahnawą:ke Environment Protection Office will be installing datalogging stations in five (5) culverts and bridges in town creeks and the Recreation Bay. Work will begin today, Friday, October 13th, and continue until the end of the month.
The dataloggers will be housed in 2-inch diameter black pipes and will not block water flow. The loggers will track long-term depth, flow, and temperature.
The data will inform designs for creek restoration projects and provide Kahnawą:ke with data on temperature and depth in the Recreation Bay. Please do not disturb the dataloggers.
Please call KEPO at 450-635-0600 or email environmentprotection@mck.ca for questions, comments, or concerns.
