Animal Control Services Pawing it Forward yet again

The Public Safety Division�s Animal Control Services (ACS) is pleased to announce another ′Share the Food′ event.

Through a collaboration with Montreal Animal Rescue and Mondou Pet stores, along with a donation from Animalerie ADN Plus located in Kahnaw�:ke, ACS has received a generous amount of pet food. This time around it is primarily cat food, with some dog food, and food for small furry pets (i.e., rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, etc.). ACS wishes to assist pet owners by giving away bags of food.

Tomorrow, Thursday, October 19th, between 12pm (noon) and 3pm, bags of food will be given away to community members on a first come, first served basis. There will be a limit of one (1) bag per household and two (2) bags for homes with two (2) or more pets.

ACS understands that with the cost of everything on the rise, community members may be feeling the pinch and wants to help. There is a possibility of this occurring monthly.
