Ietsenhaienhs Perron attending Iroquois Caucus

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community that Ietsenhaienhs Tonya Perron will be attending the Iroquois Caucus meeting in Ottawa today and tomorrow, November 29 and 30.

The two-day meeting agenda includes:

• The Jay Treaty Border Alliance
• Bill C-53 (An Act respecting the recognition of certain Metis governments)
• Iroquois Caucus Harvesting Working Group
• Iroquois Caucus Strategic Plan
• Update on Iroquois Caucus Terms of Reference
• Six Nations Cannabis Commission

Ietsenhaienhs Perron will return to the office on Friday, December 1, 2023.
