Mohawk Council of Kahnawake Holiday Closures

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake wishes to advise the community that all administrative offices will be closed for the holidays from Friday, December 22, 2023, until Tuesday, January 2, 2024, inclusively.

Regular business hours will resume on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

All essential services will remain operational throughout the break, and the Waste Management Department′s holiday schedule is as follows:

• There will be No Cardboard Drop-off;
• The Recycling Truck will be on the road on December 25 and January 1, 2024. Compost and Special Collections will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2024;
• The Transfer Depot will be CLOSED on December 22, 23, 29 & 30;
• The Transfer Depot will be OPEN December 26-28 and January 2 from 9am-2pm;
• Household Garbage Collection will proceed as usual.
