Ietsenhaienhs Jessica Lazare attending Iroquois Caucus Harvesting Working Group

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake wishes to inform the community that Ietsenhaienhs Jessica Teiotsistohkwathe Lazare will be attending the Iroquois Caucus Harvesting Working Group (ICHWG) meeting in Tyendinaga Territory on Thursday and Friday, March 14 and 15.

The two-day meeting agenda includes:

• Harvesting activities/issues
• ICHWG Workplan
• Iroquois Caucus Bill C-53 Statement
• Nuclear Waste Site issue
• Indigenous Protected Lands
• Blackfoot Confederacy

Ietsenhaienhs Lazare will return to the office on Monday, March 18, 2024.
