KEPO invites Kahnawakehronon to screening of Entewahnekahseronni We are Rejuvenating the Waters

03/28/2024

The Kahnawake Environment Protection Office (KEPO) would like to invite the community to a screening of the short film Entewahnekahseronni We are Rejuvenating the Waters, hosted at
Kanienkehaka Onkwawenna Raotitiohkwa Language and Cultural Center (KOR) on Wednesday, April 10, starting at 6pm for Cultural Awareness Month.

Collected as part of the North Creek Community Visioning Project, the film is a compilation of elder stories, memories, and visions for the future of North Creek and Kahnawake. KEPO staff will be in
attendance to answer questions about the Entewahnekahseronni project.

A private daytime screening will be held for participants and their families at the Turtle Bay Elders Lodge before the evening screening at KOR.

The creek cannot be restored to its original state, but meaningful improvements can be made that will benefit future generations and our kin in the natural world. KEPO is excited to share these important and heartwarming stories with you.

For more information, please contact KEPO at 450-635-0600 or environmentprotection@mck.ca.
