Test of Emergency Alert Siren in LaSalle Wednesday

The Public Safety Division of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake wishes to advise the community that the Labatt Brewery in LaSalle will be participating in the annual alert siren test organized by the Montreal Civil Security Center.

The siren test is a technical test aimed at verifying the proper function of equipment and the state of preparedness of all emergency first responders.

The Labatt siren test is scheduled for Wednesday, May 8th between 9am and 3pm.

May 8th also marks the anniversary of the founding of the Red Cross. In recognition of the day, the Kahnaw�:ke Fire Brigade will be flying the Red Cross flag beginning at 9am at the fire hall.
