REMINDER Justice Services Focus Group registration deadline Thursday

The Justice Services Division of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to remind the community of the upcoming deadline to register to participate in a focus group regarding the Regulation Respecting Disciplinary Measures for Decision-Makers Appointed to the Administrative Tribunal.

Interested persons must be on the Kanien�keh�:ka of Kahnaw�:ke Registry and should contact Tara Cross, Executive Assistant to the Commissioner of Justice, at 450-638-5647 or by email at tara.cross@mck.ca. Please confirm your interest no later than Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 4pm.

The focus group will take place Tuesday, May 21, 2024, from 6pm-7:30pm. Participants will be asked for their opinions and perspectives on various questions that arose during the drafting of the Regulation.

The implementation and operation of the Administrative Tribunal are pursuant to the Kahnaw�:ke Justice Act, which was created as a step towards self-determination and the exercise of our sovereign rights.
