Public Safety Engages the Community on ATV Safety
06/03/2024
The Public Safety Division of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake is launching an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Safety Survey to engage the community on the use and misuse of ATVs, side-by-sides (also known as Utility Task Vehicles or UTVs) and other off-road vehicles.
The online survey is designed to be quick and easy and can be accessed here or by scanning the QR code with your smartphone (see below). All responses will be kept confidential and used only for the purposes of this safety campaign.
The engagement is part of a more extensive campaign to reduce the number of ATV and UTV accidents in the community, reduce the number of complaints reported to the Kahnawake Mohawk Peacekeepers, and increase awareness of the rules and regulations concerning the safe and responsible use of ATVs and UTVs.
The survey will be open from Monday, June 3 to Monday, June 24, 2024. Individuals can also submit feedback directly to Community Engagement Specialist Carly Kateri Diabo at 450-632-7500 or email feedback@mck.ca.
