Executive Revenue Officer Resigns

The Executive Office of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) is informing the community that Alexandre Kanawai�n:ton Beaupre has resigned as MCK�s Executive Revenue Officer. Alex′s last day with the Organization will be Friday, June 14, 2024.

Alex began as Executive Revenue Officer on October 6, 2021, and has maintained that position since. He was tasked with developing and launching MCK′s Revenue and Business Development Unit, which he has overseen since its inception in October 2022.

He was a key member of the MCK Executive Office responsible for seeking own source revenue aimed at fulfilling the operational needs of the MCK and the community.

Alex led the creation of the Kahnaw�:ke Sovereign Wealth Fund and was involved with the announcement of a wind farm partnership project, ′Les Jardins,′ with Kruger Energy and the MRC Jardins-de-Napierville Wind Energy Project.

�Over a short period of time, Alex was able to further the development of business opportunities, relationships, and strategies on behalf of the organization,� said Executive Director Oneraht�kha Marquis. �We thank him for the work he has contributed to the MCK and the community during his time with us.�
