Social Assistance Inflation Fund Benefit

The Kahnawake Social Assistance Program of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake is pleased to share the newest Inflation Fund Benefit usage plan passed during the duly-convened Council meeting on Monday, June 24, 2024:

April 2024 – September 2024: Inflation Fund Benefit for food/household supplies.

July 2024: Summer Essential Benefit

The amount of the benefit will vary, depending on the number of clients per file. Clients can expect to receive the Inflation Fund Benefit mid-month, as usual. The Summer Essential Benefit is scheduled to be dispersed on Friday, July 5, 2024. This is a one-time-only benefit. Please contact Client-Based Services at 450-638-0500 for further information.
