Safe to Swim in Tioweroton

The Public Safety Division, in conjunction with the Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake (MCK), wishes to inform the community of recent water sampling results in Tioweroton.

The MCK is pleased to report that the water, as confirmed by Environmental Health Services of Kahnawake Shakotiiatakehnhas Community Services, is safe to swim. All areas have passed a water bacteriological analysis.

Subsequent tests will be done on Monday, July 29, weather permitting.
