Elder Abuse Community Training Workshop

The Justice Services Division of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke is inviting frontline workers, caregivers, and community members to participate in an online workshop on Elder Abuse, hosted by Ionkwatahónhsate Victims Services. The session will take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 10am to 12 noon via Zoom.

The workshop titled "Elder Abuse: A Closer Look, Response & Intervention," will be presented by Prevention Consultant Laura Proctor, and is made possible through funding by Kahnawà:ke Shakotiia′takehnhas Community Services. The session will focus on strategies for recognizing, responding to, and preventing elder abuse.

Registration is required, and a Zoom link will be provided upon registration.
