Mohawk Council of Kahnawake selects new Director of Financial Services

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) is pleased to announce the selection of Nikola Mirkovic as the new Director of Financial Services. Nikola will be stepping into the role previously held by Erica Delisle, who has been a valued member of the MCK team for almost twenty (20) years.
Holding a Chartered Professional Accountant designation, Nikola began his career at the MCK as a Financial Controller in 2019 and brings a wealth of experience and a strong background in financial management, making him well-equipped to oversee the MCK’s financial operations in his new role. His extensive experience in both public and private sector finance, combined with his deep understanding of the unique needs of Indigenous communities, positions him to contribute to the ongoing success of the MCK.
As an MCK Senior Management team member, Nikola will lead the Finance Unit and work closely with other MCK departments to ensure fiscal responsibility and transparency. The appointment is a part of the MCK’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the community′s financial stewardship and long-term sustainability.

Nikola Mirkovic officially begins his role as Director of Financial Services on January 6, 2025. The MCK looks forward to working with him as he steps into this new position and continues to build upon the strong foundation laid by his predecessors.
