Candidate Withdraws from Race

The Office of the Electoral Officer announced that candidate Dennis R. Leborgne has officially dropped out of the 2009 Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) elections.

Leborgne hand delivered a letter to the Electoral Officer, withdrawing his candidacy on Tuesday, June 16th, citing personal reasons for his decision.

The 2009 MCK Elections take place at Kateri School on July 4th from 9am to 6pm.
