South Texas Road Closure

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform all Kahnawa�kehr�:non that South Texas Road in the Lot 106 Area will be closed to traffic on Thursday July 9th, 2009 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weather permitting. Access to the Lot 106 New Development is still available from Mohawk Trail.

The Capital Construction Crew will be closing the road to allow for the installation of water and sewer lines for a new home in the area. During the construction we ask that traffic south of the railway tracks utilize the Indian Way School Road and/or the Route 207 access to Mohawk Trail. This work should be completed in one day.

Proper signalization will be erected delimiting the work zone. Detours will be clearly marked to allow for safe passage for pedestrians and motorized vehicles.
