Road Maintenance in Tioweró:ton

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to inform the Community that road maintenance work will be starting in Tioweró:ton on Monday, September 28, 2009 for a duration of two weeks.

Capital crews will be conducting the following works:

• Repairing, replacing, and adding culverts where needed.

• Adding road base materials to areas that have been washed out, or are in need of increased elevation.

• Brush cutting the main road from the cabin areas to the far end of the Territory.

• Brush cutting along the sides of Mountain Lake Road.
