Holiday Recycling & Garbage Pick Up Schedule

The Kahnawà:ke Environment Protection Office has announced the holiday recycling and garbage curb side pickup schedule.

Garbage: Pickups scheduled for Friday, December 25th and Friday, January 1st will be postponed to Monday, December 28th and Monday, January 4th respectively. Therefore, the last household garbage pickup day before Christmas is Friday, December 18th.

Recycling: The Recycling Depot will be closed on December 24th & 25th as well as December 31st & January 1st but will be open on December 28th, 29th and 30th for drop-offs.

The last curbside pickup for areas that receive service Mondays and Thursdays (Village area) will be Monday, December 21st - resuming Thursday, January 7th.

The last curbside pickup for areas that receive service on Wednesdays (207 and surrounding areas) will be Wednesday, December 23rd - resuming Wednesday, January 6th.

There will be no business recycling pickup during the Holiday Season (December 21, 2009 to January 8, 2010 inclusively).

The Transfer Depot will be closed on December 24th, 25th, 31st and January 1st.
