MCK issues advisory to Community on Kahnawake Power Draw

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been advised that Mr. Peter Ilias, the promoter of the �Kahnawake Power Draw� lottery, failed to show up to reimburse people who purchased tickets. According to Kahnawakenews.com, Mr. Ilias said he would be available to provide refunds yesterday (Wednesday, 20 Tsothohrk�:wa/ January) at the 207 Restaurant.

Therefore, the MCK is advising community members who have not been reimbursed to file a complaint/report with the Kahnaw�:ke Peacekeepers.

The MCK will continue to monitor this situation and provide information as the situation warrants.
