This letter authorizes the company Arsenault Arpenteurs-Géomètres to carry out survey work along the Kahnawà:ke-Châteauguay boundary. With Daniel Lazure, and Hugo Gomez. From August 18th, 2026, to August 31st, 2026. Wherever reasonably possible, all survey and related fieldwork should be conducted from the Châteauguay side of the boundary, in order to minimize access and activity within the Territory of Kahnawà:ke.

They will be in the area(s) of:

  • Lots 1-34, 1-35, 1-36 Block F – Industrial Boul. / Kahnawà:ke-Châteauguay Boundary

  • No Cardboard drop-offs
  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

Labor Day office closure

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Rotiio’ténion Raonenhnísera, Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.

Service Schedule for Labor Day:

  • Recycling & Compost Collection: Will continue as usual – Please place bins curbside by 7am
  • Transfer Depot: CLOSED for the day
  • Town Garage: CLOSED – All cardboard drop-offs postponed to Tuesday, September 8th

 

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th, at 8:30am.
