The Administration Unit aims to facilitate the smooth operation of all areas and Units under the MCK umbrella through effective management, resource allocation, and service delivery through the following activities, programs, and services.

About Us

The Administration Unit (ADM) is overseen by the Executive Office and is mandated to provide efficient, and
responsive administrative support to the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK).

Services

Administrative Governance

Development and implementation of an administrative
strategy, and ensuring administrative standards are applied consistently across the organization.

Finance, Administration, and Operations (FAO) Committee Coordination

Meeting coordination, planning, and scheduling, preparing, and distributing an agenda, preparing documents, taking, and distributing meeting minutes, documenting, and communicating decisions and updates, distributing information to stakeholders, performing follow-up, and record keeping.

Office Administration Services

Main building reception, MCK mail management and distribution, MCK central supply and furniture ordering, management of printer and postage machine leases for the main building, and distribution and programming of key fobs for the main building.

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke now accepts online payments from Desjardins clients through AccèsD.

  • No Cardboard drop-offs
  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 8:30am.

Waste Management services are as follows:

  • There will be NO Recycling and Compost collection
  • No cardboard drop offs
  • The Transfer Depot will be closed – regular Transfer Depot hours resume on Saturday, July 4th
  • Household Garbage collection will continue as usual

 

All essential services will remain in operation.

Regular business hours will resume at 8:30am on Monday, July 6th.
