The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Ohén:ton Í:iente ne Ratitsénhaienhs Cody Diabo will be traveling today to the Enoch Cree Nation in Alberta to attend events hosted by the Confederacy of Treaty No. 6 First Nations.
Diabo will represent the community and the Iroquois Caucus at the Treaty No. 6 150th Commemoration Pow Wow, where he will participate in the Pow Wow’s Grand Entry.
During his visit, Diabo will also engage in discussions aimed at fostering stronger relationships focused on economic cooperation and alliances. Discussions will further explore alliances founded on mutual respect, partnership, and reconciliation.
Diabo will return to the Territory on Friday, August 21st.
