The Public Safety Division of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke has been informed by the Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) engineering crew that maintenance work will occur on the railway tracks running through the community.
The work is expected to take place during the day for 6 to 8 consecutive days beginning on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The four crossings will remain open for the duration of the work.
As safety is a top priority for CPKC, this maintenance work ensures the safe operation of the tracks. CPKC thanks the community for their understanding during the maintenance work.
