Request to approve the allocation of $993,506 to Justice Services for the purchase of a ticket and case content management system to centralize and manage traffic ticket and case information for the Court of Kahnawà:ke. Further, that Kevin Fleischer, Commissioner of Justice be authorized to sign project agreement. Approved by consensus.

MCED: Land Designation – Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre

Request to designate Village Lot 66, which was designated as Mohawks of Kahnawà:ke common land by the former grantee, now be designated for the exclusive use of the Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre (KMHC). Deferred.

  • No Cardboard drop-offs
  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 8:30am.

Orange Shirt Day office closure

Wednesday, September 30, 2026

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Orange Shirt Day on Wednesday, September 30th.

Regular household Recycling pickup service and Compost collection will continue as usual. Please have your bins curbside by 7am. The Transfer Depot will be closed.

As the Town Garage will be closed, all cardboard drop-offs will be postponed to Thursday, October 1st.

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Thursday, October 1st, at 8:30am.
