The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake (MCK) is pleased to announce that Ms. Kary Robertson has been appointed as an Alternate Member of the Kahnawake Cannabis Control Board (KCCB) for a two-year term, effective immediately. Her term will run until September 3, 2026.

This appointment follows the enactment of the Regulation Concerning Alternate Board Members under the Kahnawà:ke Cannabis Control Law (KCCL), which was passed by the MCK through Mohawk Council Executive Directive (MCED) #43 2024-2025 on June 17, 2024.

As per Section 4 of the Regulation Concerning Alternate Board Members, Ms. Robertson may be called upon to serve on the KCCB when necessary to ensure a quorum during meetings and decision-making processes.
